Privacy Policy
A plain-language note about how Half Pigeon Yoga handles information you share with us. Effective September 2026. This is not legal advice and has not been certified by an attorney.

What this page covers
This policy is about information collected through halfpigeonyoga.com and the tools embedded on it. It does not try to cover every paper waiver, in-studio conversation, or third-party account you create on your own. If you book classes or buy packages in Mindbody, that company’s own privacy policy also applies.
Information we collect
Messages you send us
The contact form and the private-session inquiry form on our Reiki & sound page are hosted with Netlify Forms. If you submit one, we receive what you type — typically your name, email, and message — so we can reply. Netlify processes those submissions on our behalf. A hidden honeypot field is there to reduce spam, not to collect anything from you.
Class bookings and memberships
Schedule and registration widgets on this site are provided by Mindbody (including HealCode embeds). If you view the live schedule, create an account, book a class, or buy a package through those tools, Mindbody — not this website — processes that information. We do not control Mindbody’s systems. Please read their privacy policy before you create an account or complete a purchase.
Email updates
Some pages invite you to join a studio email list and mention MailerLite as the sending tool. If you sign up, your email may be stored so we can send workshop notes, class updates, and similar studio news. You can unsubscribe from those emails, or email us and we will take you off the list.
Site analytics
This site loads measurement tools so we can see what pages people visit and whether the site is working. As of September 2026 those include:
- Google Analytics 4
- Search Atlas / OTTO (RevRocket) — a script used for SEO and site measurement
- Microsoft Clarity — a session-analytics tool that can record how people move around a page
These tools typically collect technical details such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and approximate location. We do not use them to sell your information. We did not find a Meta / Facebook advertising pixel in the site HTML.
How we use it
We use studio-facing information to answer questions, schedule private sessions, run classes, and keep the website useful. We do not sell your contact details. We may share a message with the teacher or founder who can actually help you — for example, a Reiki inquiry goes to the person who offers that session.
Who else can see it
Hosting, forms, booking, email, maps, fonts, and analytics run on other companies’ services (including Netlify, Mindbody / HealCode, MailerLite, Google, Microsoft, and Search Atlas). Those companies process data under their own terms. If you click through to Instagram, Facebook, or Google Maps, you leave our site and their rules apply.
Cookies and similar technology
Analytics and embedded widgets may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Doing that may affect how the schedule or other embeds load.
How long we keep it
Form messages stay long enough for us to reply and follow up. Booking records live in Mindbody for as long as that account and their retention rules allow. Analytics retention follows each tool’s settings. We do not keep a separate marketing dossier about website visitors.
Your choices
Email hello@halfpigeonyoga.com if you want us to look up a form you sent, correct something we have, or stop studio emails. For class packs, memberships, and Mindbody accounts, you will usually need to change those details in Mindbody (we can point you there). Browser settings control cookies. Analytics opt-outs, where a vendor offers them, are handled by that vendor.
Children
This website is written for adults considering class at our studio. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through these forms.
Changes
If how we collect information changes in a meaningful way, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. The current version lives at /privacy.
